Bike the Tenth

Ride with your Representative! Join Congressman Schneider on a fun ride through parts of Illinois’s 10th Congressional District. This ride is open to bike riders from throughout the district who want to ride along. We will start at Naval Station Great Lakes and bike along the Robert McClory Bike Path to Glencoe. The group will take a 20 minute break in Glencoe at Glencoe Roast Coffee for an informal conversation with Congressman Schneider about issues of concern. We will then bike north to Naval Station Great Lakes for the end point.

Ride Schedule

1:30 PM – People gather and prepare to ride

1:45 PM – Ready to roll

START 2:00 PM – National Museum of the American Sailor (Building 42, 610 Farragut Avenue Great Lakes, IL 60088)

Ride 14.1 miles along Robert McClory Bike Path (80 min.)

3:20 PM – Glencoe Roast Coffee (700 Vernon Ave, Glencoe, IL 60022)

20 minute break – refreshments available for purchase; informal Q & A with Congressman Schneider

3:40 PM - Ride 14.1 miles to end/start point (80 min.)

FINISH 5:00 PM - National Museum of the American Sailor (Building 42, 610 Farragut Avenue Great Lakes, IL 60088)

Notes to riders: Helmets are required. Sign-in waiver for insurance purposes.

Bring hydration (water bottles), food and cash if you would like to purchase something.
