Reps. Schneider and Schakowsky to Host Hiring Event in Des Plaines

U.S. Representatives Brad Schneider (IL-10) and Jan Schakowsky (IL-09) will host a hiring event at Oakton Community College on Tuesday, May 28 from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Doors open 30 minutes early for veterans at 9:30am. RSVP today!

More than 70 local employers with current openings at all experience levels will be on-site to meet with job seekers. A full list of participating employers is available on our Eventbrite page.

The event will also feature workshops for attendees, including: How to Use LinkedIn in Your Job Search, How to Network in Your Job Search, and Planning a Targeted Job Search. Event partners include the Illinois Department of Employment Security, National Able Network and Oakton Community College.
