Project Name: Antioch Downtown Improvement - Lake and Main

Project Description: Antioch is completing the final stage of their downtown corridor revamp, to reconstruct and/or replace more than 25,000 square feet of sidewalk infrastructure. This will establish safe and accessible pedestrian routes from Orchard and Main and Lake and Main, to the Main Street corridor.

Project Name: College of Lake County Urban Farm Center

Request Amount: $15,000,000

Project Description: The College of Lake County is seeking to to begin construction on an Urban Farm Center (UFC) in downtown Waukegan. UFC is a collaborative project that will provide Lake County with a more resilient food system through training and infrastructure that address poor health outcomes for residents, the loss of food production in the county, and the need for more workforce development.

Project Name: Fuller Road Reconstruction with Ped Improvements

Request Amount: $5,000,000

Project Description: Gurnee is planning to reconstruct Fuller Road and add an 8 foot pedestrian path the entire length of Fuller Road, as well as implement drainage improvements, pedestrian improvements and road realigning to make Gurnee more walkable.

Project Name: George B Prindle Water Treatment Plant, Intake Improvements

Request Amount: $4,330,000

Recipient: City of Highland Park

Project Description: Highland Park is planning to extend the Water Plant’s primary (54-inch diameter) Lake Michigan intake to shore, build a new shore-well including traveling screen and baffles to capture large debris and sand and repair the Zebra Mussel control system feed line.

Project Name: Improving Natural Resources at Gander Mountain Forest Preserve

Project Name: Lake Bluff Downtown Flood Mitigation Project

Project Description: Lake Bluff would like to purchase a new upsized storm sewer and realign the storm sewer north along Sheridan Road and east within the North Ave right-of-way toward Lake Michigan.

Project Name: North Chicago Lead Service Line and Water Main Replacement Project

Request Amount: $3,500,000

Project Name: North Suburban Affordable Housing Hub

Project Description: Lake County would like to build a one-stop-shop to provide HUD-certified housing counseling and education. This hub will assist with down payment assistance programs, rental assistance, affordable rental housing, affordable homeownership programs, home repair and accessibility programs, foreclosure prevention, financial counseling, community land trust programming and inclusionary housing administration.

Project Name: Round Lake Beach Police Department Communications Technology Modernization

Project Name: Silver Creek Habitat Restoration and Flood Reduction Project (McHenry County Conservation District)

Request Amount: $300,000

Project Description: The McHenry Conservation District seeks to restore ecological diversity in wetlands and native prairies along the floodplain of Silver Creek, a main tributary to Nippersink Creek in north central McHenry County, through invasive brush and fallen tree removal as well as stream bank planting.

Project Name: Spring Grove Wastewater Treatment Plant

Request Amount: $10,000,000

Project Description: The Village of Spring Grove seeks to build a new wastewater treatment plant. Completion of this project will bring several thousand new residents to the village through the development of higher density, more affordable housing and support the expansion of Scot Forge allowing for hundreds of long- and short-term jobs which will also bring those employees to the Village as new residents.
