MUNDELEIN, IL -  Saturday, Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10) attended the grand reopening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Mundelein Heritage Museum. The museum reopened after closing in 2018 and features new exhibits on early pioneers, iconic Mundelein businesses, and Mundelein railroad history.

“Mundelein has a rich history that we can all celebrate, having grown from a small farming community into the vibrant township and business center it is today. The Mundelein Heritage Museum’s reopening represents the hard work of the Historical Commission, the Park District, and the entire Mundelein community. As we continue to rebuild from the COVID-19 pandemic with the help of the American Rescue Plan, I look forward to seeing what chapters Mundelein will add to its history, “ said Schneider.
