Schneider to Host Small Business Workshop for Constituents in Grayslake

On Thursday, April 18, Congressman Brad Schneider will host a small business workshop at the Grayslake Area Public Library to help constituents interested in starting a small business or growing an existing business.

The event will be led by Mitch Bienvenue, director of the Illinois Small Business Development and International Trade Center.

The workshop will cover:

• What you need to know to do business in Illinois,
• Factors for small business success,
• Small Business Development & International Trade Center (SBDC/ITC) programs and services,
• Elements of a good business plan,
• Business startup funding, and
• Next steps for starting or growing your business.
