Schneider Hosts Conversation on Importance of 2020 Census
On Friday, June 5 at 10:45am CT, Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10) will host a conversation with local organizations about the importance of counting every member of our communities during the 2020 Census.
The Census is used to distribute $675 billion in federal funds to local communities, including funding for schools, hospitals, roads, public works and other vital programs. Our community benefits the most when the Census counts everyone.
Joining Congressman Schneider for the conversation will be Carmen Patlan, Executive Director, Highwood Public Library, and David McDowell, Manager, Impact Funding and Advocacy at United Way of Lake County.
Portions of the conversation will be in Spanish, and Spanish subtitles will be available on the recording following the event. Algunas partes de la conversación serán en español y habrá disponibile subtítulos en español después del evento.
The event will be livestreamed on Congressman Schneider's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/CongressmanBradSchneider/posts/3025093600906953
