Schneider Invites Constituents to Participate in Bilingual Telephone Town Hall on Coronavirus

Event will feature live simultaneous translation for Spanish-speaking participants

Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10­) announced he will host a bilingual telephone town hall with the option of live, simultaneous translation for Spanish-speaking listeners to discuss and answer questions related to the coronavirus.

This will be Congressman Schneider's third telephone town hall during the coronavirus pandemic. More than 16,000 constituents have participated in the previous two telephone town hall events.

He invites all residents of Illinois' Tenth Congressional District to participate Thursday, May 7, from 4:50-5:50pm CT.

To participate, constituents are invited to either:

  • Sign-up ahead of time to receive a call using the form on /live (recommended method).

OR

  • Participate the day of by dialing-in at 855-859-7337 on Thursday evening.

The call will also offer live, simultaneous translation for Spanish-speaking listeners. To participate in Spanish, listeners should register at /live and press *0 after joining the call. Alternatively, Spanish-speaking participants may dial 855-962-1312 on Thursday evening to directly connect to the Spanish call.
