SCHNEIDER SWORN INTO 119TH CONGRESS

January 8, 2025

WASHINGTON – Today, Rep. Brad Schneider was sworn into the 119th Congress to begin his sixth term serving the people of Illinois’s 10th congressional district. He was joined by his wife, Julie Dann Schneider, at the swearing-in ceremony.

“It has been an extraordinary honor to serve the people of Illinois’s 10th congressional district for more than a decade, and I am grateful they have again entrusted me to represent them in Congress,” said Schneider. “Voters from across the nation sent me and my 434 colleagues in the US House of Representatives to deliver results that improve their day-to-day lives – to bring down the cost of living, help families not just get by but get ahead, and build a brighter future for our children and future generations. My sleeves are rolled up to advance those priorities this Congress, and I will work with anyone—Democrat and Republican—willing to collaboratively achieve them. I will also stand up to anyone, including those in the incoming Trump Administration, that seek to promote policies that will tear down our communities, attack our freedoms, our otherwise move our country backward.”
