Statement on Reports that President Trump Asked FBI Director to End Flynn Investigation

Today, Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10) released the following statement:

"If the New York Times report is accurate, President Trump's request to shut down the FBI's investigation into Michael Flynn is a blatant attempt to interfere in an independent investigation and a serious abuse of his office. This is just the latest development in a series of shocking revelations, and it is long past time for Congress to establish a truly independent investigation into these significant allegations. The American people deserve no less than a complete discovery of the facts."
