Schneider to Host Military Service Academy Information Session in Wheeling for Students and Families

Congressman Brad Schneider today announced an upcoming Military Service Academy Information Session in Wheeling for high school students and their families.

Attendees will hear from representatives from each of the five service academies – the U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, U.S. Military Academy (West Point), and U.S. Naval Academy – who will speak about their institution and discuss the application and nomination processes.

This event is open to the public. Students, parents, guidance counselors and school officials are all invited to attend. Those planning to attend should RSVP online here.

Every year, Congressman Schneider has the privilege to nominate outstanding young people from the Tenth District for admission to the military service academies. The Class of 2023 deadline to apply for a nomination with Congressman Schneider's office is Wednesday, October 31, 2018.
