WASHINGTON — Today, the U.S. House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed H.R. 6408, a commonsense, bipartisan bill introduced by Reps. Brad Schneider (IL-10) and David Kustoff (TN-08) that would revoke the tax-exempt status of any organization that provides financial support or resources to designated terrorist groups. H.R. 6408 passed by a vote of 382 to 11.

Better late than never! It took almost six months longer than it should have, but on Friday, the House finally passed the last six of the twelve appropriation bills to fully fund the government for Fiscal Year 2024. The Senate needed until 2:00 AM Saturday to complete their part, and President Biden swiftly signed it Saturday afternoon. Mind you, the fiscal year started last October 1!
