This week, U.S. Representative Brad Schneider (IL-10) joined Reps. Ted Deutch (FL-22), Carolyn Maloney (NY-12), and Debbie Wasserman Schultz (FL-23), along with Senators Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.) and Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) to introduce the 3D Printed Gun Safety Act, legislation to prohibit the online distribution of blueprints and instructions that allow for the three dimensional (3D) printing of firearms.

Today, Congressman Brad Schneider (D-IL) introduced the Teachers Are Leaders Act (H.R. 3108) to expand professional development and leadership growth opportunities for teachers. U.S. Representatives Glenn "GT" Thompson (R-PA), David Trone (D-MD), Chuck Flesichmann (R-TN), Lauren Underwood (D-IL), and Glenn Grothman (R-WI) joined Schneider to introduce this bipartisan bill.

Today, U.S. Representatives Brad Schneider (D-IL), Bill Huizenga (R-MI), Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) and Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) introduced a bipartisan resolution commemorating Cancer Survivor Beauty and Support Day.

Started in 2003 by an Illinois resident, Cancer Survivor Beauty and Support Day is now celebrated on the first Tuesday of June by participants in all 50 states.

Participating salons and spas volunteer to donate their services free of change to cancer survivors to ensure they feel empowered and included in their communities.

"The U.S. EPA this week held a public meeting in DuPage County to discuss the increased risk of cancer resulting from exposure to the toxic air pollutant ethylene oxide at the Sterigenics facility. When will the U.S. EPA do its job and hold a public meeting to discuss the EtO exposure facing communities in Lake County? My constituents deserve answers.

"Today, Special Counsel Robert Mueller made crystal clear that his report ‘speaks for itself.' Contrary to the President's claims of exoneration, the Special Counsel reiterated that ‘if we had had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so.'
