Today, U.S. Representative Brad Schneider (D-IL) hosted a congressional field hearing of the House Small Business Committee to investigate the Foxconn development in Wisconsin, the crucial environmental review the state of Wisconsin waived, and the expected effects on flooding in downstream communities along the Des Plaines River watershed.

Congressman Brad Schneider released the below statement following this week's markup and committee passage of H.Res 246 by the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Schneider is the lead sponsor of this bipartisan resolution supporting a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and opposing the Global Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) Movement, which was introduced in March 2019. The resolution currently has more than 340 co-sponsors.

The amendment would require the Director of National Intelligence report on Iran's efforts to establish a foothold in Syria and analyze the threat this poses to the United States and our allies. It was included in H.R. 3494, Intelligence Authorization Act for FY 2018, FY 2019, and FY 2020.
