WASHINGTON – Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10), introduced a resolution remembering the lives lost and honoring the survivors one year after the Independence Day Parade shooting that occurred on July 4, 2022, in Highland Park, Illinois.  Senators Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) have introduced the companion resolution in the Senate.

Senators Tom Carper (D-DE) and Thom Tillis (R-NC) introduced the Senate companion legislation.
