WASHINGTON – Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10), Co-Chair of the Abraham Accords Caucus, along with Congresswoman Ann Wagner (MO-2), Vice Chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and Co-Chair of the Abraham Accords Caucus, Chairman Michael McCaul (TX-10), and Vice Ranking Member Kathy Manning (NC-6), released the following statement after they introduced a resolution honoring the 75th anniversary of U.S.-Israel relations and calling for the expansion and strengthening of the Abraham Accords.

WASHINGTON – On this day 53 years ago,  April 17th, 1970, Captain James Arthur Lovell Jr. (USN-Ret) and his fellow crew members brought the Apollo 13 mission safely back to Earth. Today Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10) introduced legislation to recognize Captain Lovell with the Congressional Gold Medal in honor of his service to our country and leadership in advancing United States space exploration.

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. – Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10) today announced his Community Project Funding (CPF) submissions to the House Appropriations Committee. The Committee is considering fifteen requests per office as part of the 2024 federal appropriations legislation. Congressman Schneider’s submissions recommend local projects needing funding to the Committee, which will scrutinize projects before determining whether to include the projects in funding legislation.

WASHINGTON – Today, EPA proposed rulestightening Ethylene Oxide (EtO) emissions standards for all 86 existing commercial EtO sterilization facilities across the country to protect public health and reduce the risk of cancer from EtO exposure.
