It was really special being home all of last week. I enjoyed meeting with constituents in my office, took my District Listening Tour to Antioch, attended Chamber of Commerce events in Spring Grove, Northbrook, and Mundelein, visited Allendale’s Lake Villa campus, celebrated the 18 students I am honored to nominate this year to our nation’s service academies, and even had time to mark St. Patrick’s Day in Richmond and Lake Forrest.

Greetings on what is a beautiful day in Chicago. I am actually home this week, the first full week I will be in the district without traveling at least one day since October. I am so excited to be home for a bit and looking forward to traveling across our district, meeting with neighbors, and hearing your stories.

Last week, I kicked off my Mayors and Village Presidents Listening Tour with visits to Wilmette Village President Senta Plunkett, Lake Bluff Village President Regis Charlot, Libertyville Mayor Donna Johnson, and North Chicago Mayor Leon Rockingham.
