WASHINGTON – Today, Rep. Brad Schneider's Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act (DTPA) passed markup in the Judiciary Committee. Introduced in January 2021, the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act (DTPA) is a bipartisan bill designed to combat the growing threat of domestic violent extremist groups and individuals (DVEs), including racially/ethnically motivated violent extremists and white supremacist groups.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Brad Schneider encourages Tenth District students to participate in the annual Congressional Art Competition. The theme for this year's contest is "Liberty and Justice for All."

Area high school students are invited to submit a piece of art they have created in the past year, which will be judged by a panel of local educators and artists. Students are encouraged to interpret the theme of "Liberty and Justice for All" creatively and submit artwork that reflects their personal interpretation.

LINCOLNSHIRE — Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10) Monday highlighted American jobs and sustainability during a visit to Novelis, a Lincolnshire-based aluminum manufacturing plant. Novelis is the world's leading producer of rolled aluminum products and the world's largest recycler of aluminum, helping to promote sustainable manufacturing through its recycling efforts.

WASHINGTON — Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10) today announced that the Tenth District has received $8.2 million from the American Rescue Plan to provide students with access to reliable internet. Schneider helped pass the American Rescue Plan last March, which included $7 billion for the Emergency Connectivity Fund to bridge the digital divide and help students succeed during remote schooling and beyond.

WASHINGTON— Today, the House of Representatives passed the Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 Omnibus Funding Bill. The bill includes emergency funding for security and humanitarian needs for Ukraine, funding that will lower costs for families, and major bipartisan legislation. All ten of the Congressman's Community Project Funding (CPF) submissions were included in the legislation, as well as the Israel Relations Normalization Act.
