Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10) and Ranking Member of the House Small Business Committee Rep. Nydia Velázquez (NY-07) hosted a forum and resource fair for constituents who own or are interested in starting a small business on Thursday.
The event at College of Lake County – Lakeshore Campus in Waukegan offered area residents the opportunity to learn more about the many resources and programs available to current and future small business owners.
Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10) will host a "Congress on Your Corner" event to answer questions from constituents and brief attendees on his work in Washington this Saturday at 11:00am. The event will be held at Gemini Jr. High School and is open to the public.

"Like the House version, the Senate bill is mean-spirited to the core – cruelly sacrificing health care coverage for the most vulnerable among us for tax breaks to the most fortunate.
