DEERFIELD, IL – Today, U.S. Reps. Brad Schneider (D-IL-10) and Darin LaHood (R-IL-18) reintroduced legislation that will incentivize investment in safer, greener freight railcar manufacturing in the United States. The legislation will retain American jobs through the pandemic and ensure the sustainability of the North American steel and rail components supply chain.
Rep. Brad Schneider (IL-10) introduced bipartisan legislation to support visas for foreign-born doctors currently serving among the American healthcare workforce and additional visas for foreign-born nurses to come serve in the U.S.
The legislation's original cosponsors include Reps. Cole (OK-04), Bacon (NE-02), and O'Halleran (AZ-01).
WASHINGTON—As part of the Community Project Funding (CPF) for the Fiscal Year 2022 (FY22) Appropriations process, Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10) is accepting funding proposals from the community. WASHINGTON— Friday, Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10)'s Medicare Sequester COVID Moratorium Act was included in H.R. 1868 as it passed the House. The bipartisan legislation will prevent cuts to hospital payments through the end of 2021.
