Today, Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10) announced the award of $202,000 to the Chicago Horticultural Society, which operates the Chicago Botanic Garden in Glencoe, to conserve, digitize, and disseminate rare and fragile horticultural records. The grant was awarded by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH).

Help USA Troops is an Arlington Heights–based non-profit that ships boxes of care and comfort items to service members deployed around the world.
Constituents may drop-off items for care packages to American servicemembers beginning today, Monday, April 2, 2018 until Tuesday, April 24, 2018.
