Congressmen Brad Schneider (IL-10) and Mike Quigley (IL-05) today convened a roundtable discussion with patients, doctors, advocates and other community leaders to discuss their efforts to address the epidemic of opioid addiction afflicting Illinois and the country.

The bill would extend and expand the Conrad 30 Waiver program which allows doctors here from abroad to remain in the U.S. upon completing their residency under the condition that they practice in underserved areas for at least three years.
